The Dented Discrepancy of Delusional Disillusionment
Obsessions are merely unfortunate delusions run amuck,
cyclical,
noxious even,
and I don't even know what amuck means,
but I think it means something overdue,
overrun,
kind of like staging an uninvited encore,
and then lingering after the curtain call,
We never believe our disillusions,
if we did, they would not be disillusions,
and we would tell stories to our grandchildren about Houdini,
and about how analog secrets were not a thing of the past,
we could keep them alive,
with a stream of consciousness,
a treaty,
a promise to fixate on the anatomy of these things,
if only for fear of forgetting,
for fear of unfortunate certainties,
distress,
worry over being eclipsed by mobility,
Then we can get back to running amuck,
and amuck,
and
amuck.
