Ode to an Omniscient Optical Illusion
Maybe if we all stood up straight and we put our arms in the servitude position, just as they did for my Toreador,
then they would tell us we were something extraordinary,
Possibly if you counted the birds and their varying degrees and directions,
then you would forget they were silently telegraphing disease from sky to other sky
Perchance if you dressed me up like a sailor and counted me as a human being instead of a child, then you would believe wholeheartedly that I could bear witness to such madness and to render its magnificence
Perhaps if you do me these favors, if you allow me these reveries of sorts, then I can teach you how to see red like Islero,
and yellow,
and green,
and Hallucinate with the best of us
Maybe, just maybe if

what a lovely, abstract piece. This really emits a feeling that is present, though difficult to describe. You've done the job of infusing an emotion of desire which, if fulfilled, will lead to something greater. How wild and illusionistic. Each vignette of possibility is so odd, but vivid nonetheless. Didn't know what Islero was until I looked it up.
