You, The Yolk
You had wonderful fallacies, imperfections I felt were somehow in my possession,
under my jurisdiction,
my responsibility---
My sore eyes had aged faster than I anticipated,
much faster than I had agreed to when we entered into this contract of ours,
You told me I no longer had to be a caveman,
that I had served my time,
that I had done my due diligence,
and You would allow me and my son to get acquainted
And even if he was hot tempered,
and even if they called him yellow faced,
they could never say he was inconsistent,
always coming and going the same time each and everyday
He was a creature of habit,
but then again so were You,
and so was I,
and we could just circumvent all of this if You would remember the wheel,
and that You taught us everything ends,
but not before it comes,
full circle----
