What was I to do with all this happiness?
It was, as I had said so many times---
offputting---
to say the least.
My problem was that I treated it as an imposition instead of a disposition.
I took my running shoes and my chest overflowing
down the boulevard
and the alley
and the dirt road
and across the field
into the sunlight
where I put my chin face up
and kissed the sky
The wind was so glorious in its ability to strike my eyelids
making them fatigued and enamored with it all---
at the same time
The air was invisible
and delicious
and intoxicating
And all at once---
I liked the look of the clouds again---
and I fell in love
back in love
with my life.
Bravo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
