I was confusing the place where I belonged with the place where I needed,
and I was pulled,
and pulled,
and pulled like taffy,
and in directions that weren't doing anything for me,
or anyone else,
and I started seeing triangles,
even though I knew they weren't there,
they were,
they were still there,
all the live long while
