The Moon was the same for everyone,
I don't know why they wouldn't shut up about it,
but they wouldn't,
and it looked the same from every angle,
from every place on Earth,
there was supposed to be something special about that,
but it just made me feel unoriginal,
empty even,
so I turned in,
for then,
and many, many Moons beyond
