Cabinet, 43rd Floor, 1937

I knew you’d leave me hanging,

as a matter of fact,
I did you a solid,
and laid out the hook, the nail,

and even a bit of rope,

for when the tim was right,

why postpone the inevitable,
when you can destroy the future today?

I thought,
and thought again without proxy
