Why didn't you tell me how bad this was?
the spinning,
ninety degrees down,
and to the right,
and down the wrong path,

why didn't you tell me,
I know you tried,
and maybe I didn't listen,
but maybe you didn't talk loud enough,
or maybe you were embarrassed,

but maybe my optimism,
or lack thereof,

the skepticism got me here,
to the right,
