We can play favorites, this much I know,
because we can placate all of this for all of that,
and we can shift shapes on each other,
and tell us things we would not have otherwise believed,
especially as juveniles
who specialize in skepticism for sport,

But if we play favorites,
then we have to admit to our deviant behavior,
after all,
favorites would not exist without an inferiority complex

Being less worthy was reason to claim martyrdom,
but being arrogant was to reside on another plane all together
altogether

So I just threw my hands up,
up high in the air,
and then down across my face,
and my chin,
and the wheel around my neck
