In that department,
you were hands down
miles in front of the others
light years in the right direction
But I got very good at wearing two faces,
because after all,
that's what the mirror has,
right?
The truth is that you looked good
from all angles,
the kind of wrong that led to right,
what was left inside was right out here
And if I used my mind the way you taught me,
I could bend the fork in my favor,
and then I would not have to stand here,
with a crick in my neck
and blurred visages
The mirage of you, of us,
was nothing more than a broken promise,
and I always go back to the Fata Morgana,
thinking that you're something you are not
After all, you were nothing more than my incomplete---
dreary outlook, but wonderful words. Great stanza here:

something about these lines got me.
I hope you find something and or someone that completes you!!!! The mind is a wonderful thing!!!!!
