I let all these things echo in my head and I let you taunt me.

That's what bullies do, they tease and then they taunt---

and then they make you believe in the unbelievable

the way he was talking about the Sandman and bringing dreams

and things I could never bring you, I suppose

So then I became the wonderer

and the wanderer

and I walked a very long time to run the ferris wheel up here

and to recall when you hit the button

You had so often said you weren't a light switch

but you never mentioned what you were capable of---
