Too much of a good thing is---
good
and bad
and good
and right there
So I started walking down Lake Shore Drive
thinking that the view from the top would be a different disposition
and
position
and as it turns out
looking down on everything and everyone isn't all that rewarding
just the same attention to imperfections with a different perspective
and no one to turn to
only the false positives and dots and colors that were changing
with the downing of the Sun
so you have to yell---
from the rooftops
about the self satisfaction plaguing you that day
it's only evidence
an obligatory smile with no witnesses
But all that counts is that you know!!!!!
