Things had escalated---in the wrong direction.
--and we were never the better for having noticed and turning our heads to the right
Convenience had become the priority--
--dance cards arranged in its favor
--and wasn't that just the most magnificent contradiction?
We were always saving ourselves for something better--
--next
--older doesn't always mean wiser
just weary of our own devices
Older may mean just used to more of it!!!
